Galactapus

I have a slight obsession with octopuses… just a little one. I love the shapes they make. They lend themselves so beautifully to being illustrated. They are flowly, but with lots of detail. Painting all the little suckers really does take quite a long time. I imagine these guys floating around in space, Galactapus the king of the galaxy and his 4 Archtapuses, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael and Uriel.

One thing is for certain… these aren’t and won’t be the only octopuses I paint. There are always plans for more. I am way too fascinated by these creatures to leave them alone at this point.
